Paula Badosa has spoken out about criticism of her relationship with Stefanos Tsitsipas.
- It`s never easy to face criticism, although sometimes it`s funny because people don`t understand that we have the same passion. Sometimes we train not only separately, but also together, so we end up training as much or even more than everyone else.


I could understand the criticism that the relationship is a distraction if it was about someone in a different sphere, but we are both athletes with a very clear goal, so I don`t think people even know what they`re talking about.


What irritates me the most is when people`s lives are judged. I can understand criticism about career, tennis, wins and losses, but it seems disrespectful to me when it is associated with something personal.





"We understand each other, and at the same time, we both incredibly love to compete. But in personal life, the main thing is healthy relationships filled with mutual respect and understanding.





- (Laughs. ) In both cases, but, probably, off the court you worry more, because you can`t do anything, you can`t help, and when you play, everything depends on you.
