Manchester United could sign Victor Osimhen or Harry Kane in the summer.


According to The Telegraph, coach Erik ten Hag will have to decide which forwards to sign in the summer. He chooses between Harry Kane (Tottenham) and Victor Osimhen (Napoli). For each of them you will have to pay about 100 million pounds.


Strengthening the attack is the main goal of Manchester United. Kane is seen as a short-term solution, but given his Premier League experience, he is virtually guaranteed to score. Osimhen is seen as a riskier signing, but he has the potential to develop into a top striker for many years to come.


Manchester United sources believe Osimhen is better suited to ten Hag`s football. The coach needs a mobile striker who operates at a high tempo, in a strong manner and is good at pressing. Last summer, ten Hag studied Osimhen`s game in detail and noticed elements in it that raised his doubts. In addition, the coach is concerned about the injury rate of the Napoli forward.


Chelsea and PSG are also showing interest in Victor. The Italian club are expected to demand more than ?100 million for the striker.


Tottenham will request the same amount from any English club that wants to buy Kane. He may be sold if it is not possible to agree on signing a new contract. The current agreement expires in the summer of 2024. Spurs president Daniel Levy would prefer to sell Harry to a non-English club.

Osimhen, 24, has 17 goals and three assists in 21 appearances for Napoli across all competitions this season. With 16 goals, he leads the list of Serie A scorers.


Kane, 29, has 19 goals and three assists in 30 appearances for Tottenham in all competitions. With 17 goals, he is second in the list of top scorers in the Premier League, behind only Erling Haaland (25 goals).
