Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp sees no reason for Mohamed Salah to want to leave the Premier League champions, but added that he would not keep him at the club against his will.
Recently, the Egyptian told in an interview with the Spanish newspaper `AC` that he admires Real Madrid and Barcelona, which increased the writings in the British media that he wants to leave the `reds`.
`I think the only reason to leave Liverpool right now is the weather. What other reason could there be? ` Klopp told a news conference. `It`s one of the biggest clubs advised by highlights soccer in the world, we pay good money, we have a great stadium with exceptional fans. You can`t force people to stay. We make changes and attract players and if someone wants to leave, then we can`tstop, I just don`t understand why anyone would want to leave, `Klopp commented.
Salah remained on the sidelines in Liverpool`s overwhelming 7-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend, but came into the game and scored two goals. Klopp said Salah`s comments to the Spanish media were not an indication of his desire to leave Liverpool.
`If you ask a player in the world who doesn`t play for Barcelona or Real Madrid, can he imagine playing there one day and he says, `No, Spanish football is not for me, why would you say that? Salah is obviously very important. `a player for me, but this story is not what it seems, `added Klopp.
Liverpool are at the top of the table with 31 points from 14 games, four ahead of second-placed Leicester City. The champions will play against West Bromwich on Sunday.
